Digitosepia robsoni [Digitosepia robsoni]
Description
This small cuttlefish is a master of camouflage, often appearing as a mottled blur against sandy or rocky bottoms. Divers may notice it slowly hovering or creeping along the substrate, using rapid color and texture changes to match the background. When it feels threatened, it can “freeze” in place or dart away with a quick jet of water.
