Ascarosepion rozella [Ascarosepion rozella]

Description

This small cuttlefish is a master of staying out of sight, typically appearing as a mottled blur against the substrate. Divers who watch carefully may notice it adjusting its pattern and posture in short bursts, then holding still as it uses camouflage to ambush passing prey.
