Pegantha laevis [Pegantha laevis]
Description
This nudibranch is typically encountered on or near benthic habitats where its food sources are present, often on algae or in sheltered crevices. Underwater, it may appear as a small, smooth-bodied animal that stays close to the substrate. Divers who take their time looking at the “edges” of rocks and patches of growth are most likely to spot it.
