Solmissus incisa [Solmissus incisa]
Description
This medusa can be seen as a translucent bell with a slightly distinctive, notched look that becomes apparent as it flexes. As it pulses and drifts, the tentacles extend downward and can catch the light, making it easier to spot in clear water. Divers usually find it by scanning the water column and watching for slow, rhythmic movement.
