Sculpins [Hypsagonus]
Description
Hypsagonus is a genus in the Agonidae family, often referred to as sculpins, although this name is also used for members of the family Cottidae. These poachers have a unique appearance with a somewhat flattened body and a head covered in bony plates. They are found in the North Pacific Ocean, feeding on small invertebrates on the ocean floor.
