Rhinecanthus [Rhinecanthus]
Description
Divers often spot Rhinecanthus triggerfish cruising along rocky or coral edges, where they pause to inspect crevices and rubble. Many species have bold, contrasting patterns and a sturdy, laterally compressed body that makes them look almost “armored” as they hover and dart away.
