Lactoria [Lactoria]
Description
Lactoria boxfish (often called “cowfish” in some regions) can be a standout underwater, with their rounded, box-like shape and bold markings. Divers frequently notice them cruising near coral and sand patches, where they forage methodically and can be surprisingly calm as they move through the water.
