Conger eels (Heteroconger) [Heteroconger]
Description
Heteroconger conger eels are frequently spotted half-buried in sand or tucked into burrows, with only their heads and long bodies visible. Divers may watch them sway gently with the current, using their sensitive senses to detect prey as small fish and invertebrates drift by.
