Cirrhitichthys [Cirrhitichthys]
Description
These hawkfish are often found perched on reef ledges, corals, or rocky outcrops, using their camouflage to blend into the structure. When prey passes by, they lunge with sudden speed, and divers may see them “watching” from their favorite vantage points.
