Chelonia [Chelonia]
Description
With a bit of luck, divers may encounter sea turtles in the genus Chelonia, recognizable by their streamlined shells and graceful swimming. They often cruise just above the seafloor or near reefs, using their flippers to glide efficiently through the water. When they pause, divers can sometimes observe calm breathing and slow head movements as they forage or rest.
