Brain Coral [Leptoria]
Description
Leptoria is a classic brain coral with broad, flowing folds and valleys that give it a distinctly “wrinkled” look. Divers often enjoy tracing the channels across its surface, which can look like a natural topographic map. In healthy colonies, the living tissue may show fine color variation and a lively texture.
