Frogfishes [Antennariidae]
Description
Frogfishes are unusual-looking ambush predators with a lumpy, camouflage-friendly body and a “fishing lure” that helps attract prey. Divers often see them perched on the seafloor or among coral, remaining still until a curious fish comes close.
