Located off the southern tip of the South Island, Stewart Island and its surrounding waters are relatively untouched by human activity. The area offers a chance to dive with great white sharks in addition to exploring the dense kelp forests and diverse marine species.

Oct Good diving conditions with increasing marine activity. Chance of seeing seals.
Nov Excellent visibility and mild temperatures. Ideal for exploring the rugged coastline.
Dec Summer diving, warm water and excellent visibility. Abundant fish life and potential for seal encounters.
