Description

True to its name, The Nursery at Netrani Island is a shallow, protected haven for juvenile marine life. This beginner-friendly site boasts excellent visibility and a chance to observe a variety of small fish and developing coral formations.

Jan Post-monsoon clarity, good for spotting larger marine life around the island.
Feb Excellent visibility, calm seas, ideal for exploring the diverse reef.
Mar Warmer waters, good visibility, potential for spotting schooling fish.
Apr Hottest month, visibility can decrease due to plankton blooms.

May Pre-monsoon conditions, increased plankton, reduced visibility. Diving is limited.
Jun Southwest monsoon season, rough seas, very low visibility. Diving is generally not recommended.
Jul Monsoon continues, similar conditions to June.
Aug Monsoon starts to subside, visibility slowly improving but still poor.
Sep Post-monsoon, visibility improving significantly, good for exploring the island's underwater topography.
Oct Conditions continue to improve, good for spotting diverse reef fish.
Nov Start of the dry season, excellent visibility and calm seas, ideal for macro photography.
Dec Peak season, best visibility and calm conditions for exploring Netrani's rich marine biodiversity.
